Announcing the Cast for LIZZIE

The cast of LIZZIE
Anne Louise Brings*, Wendy Joseph, Kandyce Marie*, & Emilie Starr

Our 55th season continues to burn brightly with the upcoming cast of LIZZIE by Steven Cheslik-deMeyer, Tim Maner, and Alan Stevens Hewitt, a fiery all-female rock musical about the eerie and exciting Borden Murders. The quartet will feature four familiar faces for SLAC’s audience. The cast includes Anne Louise Brings* (The Robertassey, A Year With Frog and Toad, Stupid F**king Bird) as Bridget, Wendy Joseph (The Pigeon Gets a Big Time Holiday Extravaganza!, SLAC’s Summer Show: A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, Hairy & Sherri) as Alice, Kandyce Marie* (Passing Strange) as Emma, and Emilie Starr (R+J: Star-Cross’d Death Match, Saturday’s Voyeur, Diary of a Worm, a Spider, and a Fly) as Lizzie Borden.

The production will be directed by Latoya Cameron, with music direction by Ginger Bess and choreography by Miche’ Smith, and will play in our Upstairs Theatre from April 7 through May 2, 2027.

You know the rhyme. Now hear her side. In the sweltering summer of 1892, Andrew Borden and his wife are found murdered in their house. The main suspect? Lizzie Borden. This electrifying all-woman rock musical rewrites the narrative. LIZZIE cracks open a legend and lets it scream. Tickets are available online or by contacting the Box Office at (801) 363-7522.
