A world premiere one-woman play about "conspicuously consumptous" child rearing. SLAC's Resident Playwright offers up a funny and clear-eyed chronicle of a day in the life of distinctly atypical grandmother Polly Parchment as she survives the unrelenting entertainment and celebration of her "Azure" grandchild. The calamitous day culminates in a birthday party to rival Fellini's most fevered dreams.
