Tyson Baker

Benvolio - Tyson Baker Tyson is stoked to be working with Salt Lake Acting Company once again. He was last seen at SLAC as part of the New Play Sounding Series, reading Troy Deutsch's new work, Bull Shark Attack. Currently he is touring a kid's show with Plan B Theater Company entitled Ruff!. And later this year you can see him in the original dark comedy, Booksmart. This is Tyson's third time performing in Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, and he can now say with assurance that it is one of his top three favorite Shakespeare plays. The other two times he played Benvolio (Weber High) and Friar Lawrence (Weber State). Other past credits include a number of summer stock stints in Jackson Hole at the Jackson Hole Playhouse, including Paint Your Wagon!, 7 Brides, and The Ballad of Cat Ballou. He was also in Mockingbird with Pygmalion Theatre Company, Closer with Wasatch Theatre company, and The Crucible at The Grand Theater. He hopes to one day finish his degree he started at Weber State University. Thanks for coming to the show! Get your drink on, Montagues!
